Pacers wing Ben Sheppard had surgery on Wednesday to repair a torn meniscus in his left knee and will be out for "months", coach Rick Carlisle said; he needed a full repair rather than the shorter meniscectomy. Nets guard Egor Demin has a bone bruise in his right leg, first listed as a contusion after Tuesday's loss to Boston. He will be re-evaluated in a week and will miss at least four games, starting Friday against Detroit. Demin averaged 9.7 points and 3.0 assists in three games.
