Ja Morant hurt his left hamstring in Thursday's game and won't be reevaluated for four weeks, writes Bill Oram of The Oregonian. He won't need surgery and could be back by the end of November. Portland bounced back on Saturday, beating Utah 112-90 behind Deni Avdija's 24 and Damian Lillard's 22. Scoot Henderson replaced Morant in the starting lineup and had 14 points and three steals in 31 minutes.
"I think what he sees here is that he's on a good ballclub with a lot of good offensive players and he doesn't have to do everything." — Micah Nori, Trail Blazers coach
Fantasy angleHenderson starts while Morant is out; Vit Krejci played a season-high 24 minutes.
