After the Knicks' Bruce Brown said the new CBA 'kind of sucks' for middle-tier players, the league posted a statement calling the claim untrue. It says roster counts are unchanged, annual salaries are up nearly $1.3 billion and pay has risen about 30% for all classes of players. Brown, coming off a big bench role in Denver, is on a non-guaranteed deal in New York.
