Second-year center Maxime Raynaud left Saturday's preseason game at Golden State in a wheelchair after taking contact on the outside of his right knee while setting a screen late in the first half. The Kings ruled him out early in the third quarter, and team sources told ESPN there is "growing fear they've lost their young center for the foreseeable future." An MRI was expected late Saturday night.
Fantasy angleRaynaud (All-Rookie second team, 12.5 PPG, 7.5 RPG last season) was Sabonis' backup. Sacramento's frontcourt depth takes a hit.
