The Pistons asked about trading for Kawhi Leonard and Kevin Durant this summer, ESPN's Vincent Goodwill reported. Leonard didn't want to go to Detroit and Houston wouldn't discuss Durant. Detroit was also ready to offer Austin Reaves a big deal if he reached free agency, but he signed a max with the Lakers. Jalen Duren, who signed a five-year, $200 million deal on October 1, may not play Wednesday at Minnesota.
"We're just being cautious and making sure we don't put him in a compromising position." — J.B. Bickerstaff on Duren
Fantasy angleDuren's late start is the one to watch: if he sits Wednesday, his last preseason chance is Friday against Toronto.
