Kawhi Leonard played his first game for Toronto since 2019 and led all scorers with 21 points in 17 minutes, shooting 6 of 12 with four threes, 5 rebounds and 2 steals, as the Raptors crushed the Knicks 148-98. One corner jumper off a Jakob Poeltl pass bounced around before dropping, an echo of his 2019 Game 7 winner against Philadelphia. Toronto shot 57% from the field, and rookie Collin Murray-Boyles went 7 of 7 for 19 points and 9 rebounds off the bench.
Highlights
"A lot of my shots do that. I don't shoot with the highest arc." — Kawhi Leonard
"God bless that it went in. God willed it. Thankful for it." — Kawhi Leonard
Fantasy angle21 points in 17 minutes is the ceiling; the question is how many minutes and games Toronto will give him. Murray-Boyles' efficiency (7-7 FG) makes him a deep-league watch.
