The Warriors say Kristaps Porzingis will remain out indefinitely because of undisclosed health issues. He has missed training camp and all five preseason games, returned to the practice facility on Tuesday to meet GM Mike Dunleavy Jr. and Dr. Rick Celebrini, and the team will give an update when appropriate. Porzingis said on X he is getting better. Until he's back, Golden State will lean on Draymond Green at center with 40-year-old Al Horford and Charles Bassey behind him.
"Honestly, I'm getting better and better. I just have to stay patient, and I believe I'll be feeling great again soon." — Kristaps Porzingis
"Health is wealth. Thank you for all the support." — Kristaps Porzingis
Fantasy angleDon't draft Porzingis expecting opening-week games. Green and Horford pick up the center minutes.
