GMs pick the Spurs, and Wembanyama breaks the survey records

In John Schuhmann's annual NBA.com survey of general managers, 50% picked San Antonio to win the title, just ahead of Oklahoma City at 43%; the champion Knicks got one vote. Victor Wembanyama set survey records for the highest MVP share (77%) and as the player GMs would most like to start a franchise with (93%), and got the maximum possible 97% as best defender and best interior defender. Philadelphia was voted the best offseason by 73%, Giannis Antetokounmpo (Heat) the most impactful acquisition with 53%, and Grizzlies rookie Cameron Boozer the Rookie of the Year pick with 50%. In the East, the Knicks were the clear favourite (60% of first-place votes).
