The Lakers and Bucks have held exploratory talks on a deal that would have Los Angeles attach second-round draft capital to move Dalton Knecht, with Milwaukee sending back big man Jericho Sims, Jake Fischer reports. Milwaukee would likely waive Knecht. Fischer has also heard some pessimism about the deal, and the Lakers might simply waive Knecht before Monday's deadline to set rosters. Milwaukee, the Lakers and Memphis are the only teams carrying more than 15 players on fully guaranteed deals; the Bucks have also discussed Caris LeVert (3 points on 1-of-7 in three preseason games) and Kevin Porter Jr.
