Owners left the last Board of Governors meeting with the impression that a Seattle team is no longer a lock, ESPN's Brian Windhorst reports, as Adam Silver appears to be raising pressure on the Seattle bidders. Las Vegas is moving forward and a winning bid could be chosen within weeks, with Vegas offers possibly topping $10 billion; Seattle's two known bids are substantially lower, with the group led by Kraken owner Samantha Holloway seen as the frontrunner. Mexico City is back in the conversation after a local group approached the league's expansion adviser. Each current team is projected to collect $500 million to $600 million in expansion fees.
