Update on Thursday's MRI: Denver announced that Julian Strawther has a left knee sprain and will be re-evaluated in six weeks, around November 27. He was hurt Wednesday against the Clippers when he fell trying to escape a double-team and his left leg twisted under him. Strawther was averaging 13.2 points in 18.4 minutes over four preseason games, shooting .463/.435/.833, and was pushing for a rotation spot. He can sign a rookie-scale extension until Monday; otherwise he heads to restricted free agency in 2027.
