Golden State intends to waive Dalen Terry, who is on a non-guaranteed Exhibit 9 deal, and he is expected to open the season with the Santa Cruz Warriors, Brett Siegel of ClutchPoints reported. In five preseason games the 2022 No. 18 pick averaged 6.4 points, 3.4 rebounds, 2.8 assists and 1.2 steals in 14.0 minutes. He did not play in Friday's 128-118 win over Portland. His release improves Brandon Williams' chances of making the regular-season roster.
