New Orleans exercised its 2027/28 team options on Jeremiah Fears ($8.27MM), Derik Queen ($5.67MM) and Yves Missi ($5.6MM). It declined AJ Johnson's $5.49MM option, so he will be an unrestricted free agent next summer. Fears averaged 14.3 points and 3.4 assists in all 82 games as a rookie and is expected to be the sixth man behind Dejounte Murray. Queen averaged 11.7 points, 7.1 rebounds and 3.7 assists. Missi averaged 5.7 points, 5.8 rebounds and 1.5 blocks over 66 games.
