Anthony Davis had 34 points and 12 rebounds in his first game for Washington, which beat Milwaukee 128-116. Davis was hurt when the Wizards acquired him last season and never played for them. Trae Young added 20 points and 13 assists. Washington missed 18 of its first 22 threes and trailed well into the second half, then went on a 21-4 run early in the fourth to lead 111-98. Tyler Herro scored 24 and Jaime Jaquez Jr. 22 for the Bucks in Taylor Jenkins' first game as their coach; both came from Miami in the Giannis Antetokounmpo trade. No. 1 pick AJ Dybantsa sat out with an ankle injury.
