Garland scores 30 as the Clippers never trail against the Kings

Darius Garland scored 30 points and the Clippers beat Sacramento 121-96 without trailing. Brook Lopez had 17 points and 11 rebounds off the bench, rookie Keaton Wagler 15 points, 5 rebounds and 5 assists, and Rui Hachimura 10 points and 8 rebounds in his debut after arriving from the Lakers. Zach LaVine scored 28 for Sacramento and Domantas Sabonis had 14 points and 18 rebounds. The Clippers were without Bradley Beal (knee, injury management), Brandon Ingram (heel surgery) and Max Strus (partial plantar fascia tear). Owner Steve Ballmer was missing from his courtside seat: he is serving a one-year suspension, and the team was fined $30 million and forfeited five consecutive draft picks from 2029 through 2033.
