Toronto beat Chicago 135-92 in Kawhi Leonard's first game back with the Raptors. The Raptors reacquired him in an offseason trade after a salary-cap circumvention scandal brought major sanctions against the Clippers. Leonard scored 23 (11-of-11 from the line) with four steals; Scottie Barnes and Immanuel Quickley also scored 23 and RJ Barrett 20. Toronto scored 43 in the first quarter and never trailed. The Bulls committed 27 turnovers, which became 35 Raptors points, and shot 4-of-36 from three. Rookie Caleb Wilson had 16 points and nine turnovers in his debut. Josh Giddey said afterwards he hurt his left wrist in the preseason and it will be managed throughout the season.
