Damian Lillard scored 25 points with six 3-pointers in his first regular-season game since March 18, 2025, and Portland beat Phoenix 124-83. He spent last season rehabbing a torn Achilles after rejoining the Blazers in summer 2025. Portland opened on a 21-0 run, led 72-39 at halftime and by as many as 52. Ja Morant had 14 points and 8 assists in his Blazers debut, Toumani Camara scored 18, and Deni Avdija had 18 points and 10 rebounds after being a game-time decision with a right ankle injury. Devin Booker scored 23; the Suns shot 36% and 6-for-31 from three.
