Rozier's lawyers ask for a separate trial

Lawyers for Terry Rozier and co-defendant Deniro Laster asked a federal judge to split their trials, saying a joint trial wouldn't be fair. Rozier's lawyers also said the NBA provided medical records showing he was really injured in the March 23, 2023 game at the centre of the case. Prosecutors have suggested he left that game early so bettors could cash "under" props.
