Golden State has started exploring trades for Kristaps Porzingis, ESPN's Shams Charania reported. Porzingis is dealing with recurring symptoms of POTS (postural orthostatic tachycardia syndrome) and might retire if his recovery doesn't turn a corner. He has missed all of camp and the preseason and has stepped away from the team again. He's owed $20MM this season, with a 2027/28 player option guaranteed for only $3MM. The Athletic reported the Warriors have contacted the Bucks, among other teams, but Milwaukee isn't believed to be interested; Myles Turner would be the likely match. The Warriors said they won't comment on trade speculation or his health.
"I'm working with doctors and experts to figure out how to be fully back to good health ASAP." — Kristaps Porzingis
