Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 17 points on 6-of-19 shooting in Oklahoma City's 96-84 win over Denver, ending his record run of 141 straight regular-season games with at least 20 points. He hit a three to reach 17 with 1:43 left and, with the Thunder up 93-76, asked coach Mark Daigneault to take him out. His last game under 20 points was on Oct. 30, 2024. Daigneault said he wanted to leave him in with a historic streak on the line and praised the decision as a sign of maturity.
