The Knicks made Dalton Knecht's two-way contract official and waived Kevin McCullar Jr., who was in his third straight year on a two-way deal and got a ring on Tuesday. Knecht, 25, was the 17th pick in 2024 and was waived by the Lakers before the season; the Kings, Wolves and Raptors were also linked to him. He averaged 4.2 points in 10.2 minutes over 54 games last season and can play 50 NBA games on the two-way, with time in Westchester likely. Before waiving him, the Lakers had called the Jazz, Bulls and Bucks about trades.
