Pistons center Jalen Duren, who re-signed for five years and $200MM this summer, played only 10 first-half minutes in Miami before leaving with a right thigh injury; Paul Reed started the third quarter and Duren did not return. He and Ausar Thompson will be evaluated Saturday. In Phoenix, Oso Ighodaro will miss Saturday's home opener against Golden State with a strained right oblique from Wednesday's loss in Portland. Coach Jordan Ott called it a "pretty good report overall". The Suns are already without Mark Williams for several months after shoulder surgery.
