Pacers' Ben Sheppard has a torn left meniscus

Oct 23, 2026 · B3 Basketball

Indiana confirmed that Ben Sheppard tore the meniscus in his left knee in Wednesday's win in New Orleans. Coach Rick Carlisle tentatively said he could be out a few weeks. Sheppard, 25, averaged 7.1 points in 65 games last season and didn't agree to a rookie scale extension before the October 19 deadline. Aaron Nesmith returned from a hamstring injury on Friday, but Jarace Walker kept his starting spot.
