The Jazz said on Friday that Jusuf Nurkic will be checked again in two weeks after being reevaluated for an injury to the second toe of his right foot, described by Hoops Rumors as a partial plantar plate tear. He was hurt in the October 4 preseason game against Denver. Nurkic is making progress and has begun on-court activities. Jaxson Hayes has started five of Utah's eight games at center.
Fantasy angleWith Nurkic out at least two more weeks, Jaxson Hayes stays Utah's main option at center.
