Milwaukee waived Kevin Porter Jr., ESPN's Shams Charania reported, to cut from 16 guaranteed contracts to a 15-man roster. Caris LeVert and Jericho Sims had been seen as possible cuts, and the Bucks explored trades, including a Sims deal with the Lakers, but nothing came together. Porter averaged 17.4 points, 7.4 assists and 5.2 rebounds in 38 games last season, and Milwaukee owes his $5.39MM salary if he goes unclaimed.
